Business license renewals are due. Deadline is March 31, 2016.

Please ensure you have a valid license to practice within Masset boundary’s as per
bylaw #575 “No person shall carry on any business within the Municipality unless s/he is the holder of a valid and subsisting license issued to them under the provisions of this Bylaw for the business so carried on.”

Dog By-Law

The Village of Masset does have a "Animal Control Bylaw No. 277"
The by-law requires that dogs not be allowed to run loose and that owners or persons responsible for a dog have the dog under their control.  If you see a dog on the loose, please contact the Village of Masset office at 250-626-3995.
We have also noticed an increase in complaints of owner's not cleaning up after their dogs in public areas.  Please respect your fellow citizens and pickup after your pet.
