Have Your Say - Village of Masset - Active Transportation Network Plan Survey
https://www.surveymonkey.ca/r/C6BDKMP
Project Overview
The Village of Masset has developed a Draft Active Transportation Network Plan (ATNP) to make walking, rolling, and cycling trips more convenient, safe, and comfortable for people of all ages and abilities. The ATNP will work to prioritize the development of a comprehensive pedestrian and cycling network throughout the Village.
The ATNP also builds on the recent Main Street Masset work and other projects that aim to make Masset a more comfortable community for residents and more welcoming for visitors. An improved active transportation network will enable more residents and visitors to choose active, safe, and sustainable travel options for more trips.
The Village of Masset engaged with the community in Fall 2024, through two open houses, a pop-up event, and an initial survey. The fall engagement was intended to identify issues and opportunities for active transportation in Masset. The Village of Masset is now seeking further community feedback to help prioritize the actions in the Draft ATNP.
Have Your Say
Your input is important to shaping the plan. We invite you to use your voice to help us create a plan that addresses existing barriers and focuses on key community priorities. This input will help shape a plan that is inclusive, practical, and forward-thinking.
Community Survey
This survey is intended to support the prioritization of actions within the draft ATNP. These actions aim to support walking and cycling in Masset.
We appreciate your time in completing the survey, which will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.
The survey will be open until March 23rd, 2025.
The North Coast Regional District (NCRD) has also developed an Active Transportation Plan and is currently seeking community input through a similar community survey.
