Solar Farm Agreement

Yesterday was an excellent day for Haida Gwaii as the Solar Farm Agreement between Tll Yahda Energy and the Village of Masset was signed. The commitment to advancing clean energy solutions for all island residents is a welcome start. This Solar Farm puts us on the road to significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions, diminishing dependence on diesel fuel, decreasing pollution, and providing local jobs. Haawa’a! To Chief Councilor Edgars, of Tll Yahda Energy and Mayor Disney, for making the day possible.
